Both recordings were produced by Harris Johns. and then followed by an EP entitled "Judas" album was made to try the studio "Horus" in Hamburg. Helloween been able to attract the attention of the media and got a positive. in November 1986, while the last tour for the promotion of this record, Hansen realized that hampered her singing abilities, for a band that started stepping up. Moreover, she felt too forced myself to tour the length and tight, which would be bad for the voice. Ralf Scheepers from a band named Tyran Pace agreed to finish this tour with Helloween but has no plans to join the band. Fortunately, after the tour was over didapatkanlah a young singer who is perfect in life that the 18 named (silver-throat) Michael Kiske (ex-Ill Prophecy). In December after feeling perfaya enough away to make a double-album, but Noise, they reject the label. Which album released later in 1987 the first volume of a double concept album.

Helloween even get success in America and Japan, and in fact already have a lot of fans. The second part was released in 1988 under the title "Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part II", which mejadikannya even more successful than expected. Before walking tour, Helloween hire a keyboard player named Ja'rn Ellerbrock as a series regular during the tour. World Tour titled "Pumpkins Fly Free" is their most successful tour yet in December, Kai Hansen left the band due to personal issues with other personnel. Kai then moved to later form a band of his own called "Gamma Ray". In January 1989, Helloween find a replacement guitar player named Roland Grapow (ex-Rampage) comes from Hamburg, who had completed a tournya to complete. In the same year, a live album was released under several titles, namely: "Live In The UK" in Europe, "I Want Out - Live" in America and "Keepers Live" in Japan. So the money flow continues, Noise records released 2 the Best albums, namely: "The Best, The Rest, The Rare" and "Pumpkin Tracks" in 1989. Finally, Helloween was aware that the band has been squeezed by Noise Records, and finally decided to move to a Major Label EMI. Noise Records finally took the law to postulate that Helloween had been decided his contract. Helloween finally won his case in court but got the usual high court defeat. Helloween threatened ban on the release of their songs. They are not allowed to release their songs exception Noise Records. This leaves a lot of questions for the fans in Europe about what is really going on with Helloween.
Finally in 1991 the single "Kids Of The Century" for the new album was released, containing a message from the band about their vacuums for almost 3 years and why they can not release their new album during the trial is still ongoing. Grapow first album, "Pink Bubbles Go Ape", became a commercial success but still looks lower than the success of the previous album. Almost all of the errors assigned to the producer Chris Tsangarides about production and mixingnya, but in this case the songwriting is not too focused. However, the album also has some very nice songs from all personil.Masalahnya not only that, there are still problems that are growing conflicts between personnel, on the one hand there are Kiske / Schwichtenberg and on the other hand there are Weikath / Grapow. Weikath tried to persuade his friend Andi Deris, lead singer of a band called Pink Cream 69, to join Helloween, but Andi was still fit in with the band. Because they are large enough permasalahn, Helloween afraid of not getting results at all, then they immediately launched the album "Chameleon" at the beginning of 1993, which looks like a reunion with their old producer Tommy Hansen, but this album was not even find success at all. Apart from the production of a great album and the number of quality songs, it caused Helloween lost a lot of fans, for some fans may be able to receive new music wing Helloween began AOR and mainstream rock, which it is not expected of Helloween music. Minimal in appearance tour shows meraka enough tensions in the band at that time. Before the tour to Japan, their drummer Schwichtenberg mwndapat problems in drug abuse, and was replaced by a named substitute drummer Richie Abdel-Nabi. Worse yet, Helloween even fired by EMI.
After the end of the tour in December 1993, Abdel-Nabi removed from his position which is thought almost all the personnel that he was not suitable for the position. Tensions grew worse and more heated, and 2 weeks before the next recording, fire Kiske Helloween, and for so band did not want to join in again next time even. Deris Weikath contacted a second time and convince him to take the right position. At that time the band Pink Cream 69 starts to grow, and he thought it did not take long in the job, Deris Decided to take this opportunity. And then in January 1994, Helloween invited Uli Kusch (ex-Axe La Chapelle / Gamma Ray) as their new drummer and moved the contract to Castle Communications.
During the production period for the next album, a new era Helloween feel the urge to rise again as the Keeper era and do not like the last album that actually destroy this band. They know if the new album is not getting success, might not be there anymore Helloween. This makes it shocked the media, album "Master Of The Rings" was a success in a short time and can Helloween again raised their old strength, Andi Deris prove that he is a decent person replaces Kiske. Nearly a year after the album was released in America with Bonus containing no more than 7 songs in addition to celebrating this success. But On March 8, 1995, a tragedy occurred when former Helloween drummer 'Ingo Schwichtenberg' suicide in Hamburg.Helloween dedicate their new album later to Ingo. Which is a suggestion of management and the people around them, Helloween Releases "The Dark Ride" was produced by Roy Z / Charlie Bauerfeind, an album completely different from the previous albums, the album is a lot on the guitar and tuned pwnuruna with characteristic dark atmosphere. However, relations between the band began developing cracks, which are strongly opposed to Michael Weikath with sudden changes, the debate begins with Roland and Uli Kusch Grapow the musical path they want to Helloween. Weikath then complained about not being invited to share a part in the production of this album. On one side of Weikath offered to leave Helloween to start something new. But Groskopf and Deris not want this to happen, which is a leader in the eyes visible Weikath fans and if not for him, Helloween Helloween will not be present. Besides they both want to continue the musical path meraka like past albums, on the other hand Grapow / Kusch want to keep dijalur musical "The Dark Ride". Finally, in the near future, in 2001, after the tour, they asked Grapow / Kusch to get out of the band. The official reason is because they are too much to concentrate on their solo album project. Eventually became clear that "The Dark Ride" is the worst selling album after album "Chameleon", and it is certainly not expected by Nuclear Blast on their contract with Helloween.
Mark Cross (ex-Metalium) joined Helloween, to replace Uli Kusch on drums. and still leaves a question mark over who will fill the position of guitarist. Meanwhile, Kusch and Grapow complement "Masterplan", a project that is they want to form a full band.
After trying to persuade Henjo Richter (Gamma Ray) to join the band, Michael Weikath finally followed the advice given by producer Charlie Bauerfeind and contacted guitarist Sascha Gerstner (ex-Freedom Call). Experiments dengannnya in Tenerife showed that he was the right choice both as a guitarist and as a band, and to a position that will last a long time. Helloween then intend to continue their album. In 2003, right at the beginning of the recording process, Mark Cross was diagnosed with mononucleosis, a disease that results in pain in the body's organs and compelling reasons not to do routine activities. Because Cross is unable to continue the position of drums, Helloween back to Mikkey Dee (Motörhead, ex-King Diamond) to help them. They chose it because the drummer Mikkey is known as a very talented and, more importantly, that this change will not go wrong, but with different music track recording process went well, but akhitnya Helloween must be aware that the insurance company can not overcome his illness ansennya Cross will not recover quickly within 2 years. They forced capturing drummer again. Because they were pressured by management to record some more songs for her b-sides, Helloween then invited Stefan Schwarzmann (ex-Accept, ex-UDO), A drummer known Weikath year 80s, in their recording studio session Groskopf drums. This shows that Schwarzmann willing to join the band. After that, the album "Rabbit Do not Come Easy" produced Charlie Bauerfeind released in Mai 2003.
